This limitation of the way in which the contemporary actual entities are relevant to the ‘formal’ existence of the subject in question is the first example of the general principle, that objectification relegates into irrelevance, or into a subordinate relevance, the full constitution of the objectified entity. Some real component in the objectified entity assumes the role of being bow that particular entity is a datum in the experience of the subject. In this case, the objectified contemporaries are only directly relevant to the subject in their character of arising from a datum which is an extensive continuum. They do, in fact, atomize this continuum; but the aboriginal potentiality, which they include and realize, is what they contribute as the relevant factor in their objectifications. They Thus exhibit the community of contemporary actualities as a common world with mathematical relations-where the term ‘mathematical’ is used in the sense in which it would have been understood by Plato, Euclid, and Descartes, before the modern discovery of the true definition of pure mathematics.

연장적 원리에 따른 점과 직선의 정의를 통해
변형과 측정이 가능해질 수 있다....

기하학적 전망에 따른 형식은 연장적 연속체로부터
가능태에 대한 내용은 신의 원초적 본성의 주체적 지향으로부터..
그리고 결단은 현실적 존재 그 자신으로부터 비롯한다..

 

이때 원생적 가능태는 객체화에 있어서 관련요인으로
기능하지만 객체화된 존재들은 동시적 현실태들의 공동체를
수학적 관계를 갖는 공통 세계로서 드러내고 있을 뿐이다....

여기서 <원생적 가능태>란 분명히 연장적 연속체 외에
달리 가리키는 말을 찾아볼 수 없다..

 

물론 이것은 또한 실재적 가능태에 대한
가장 일반적인 규정이기도 하다.....

 

허나 이것으로 주체에 대한 실재적인 객체로서의
역할은 당연히 불가능.. 여기에는 부가적인
-소위 말하는 감각여건sense-data이라고 불리는-
영원한 객체들이 더욱 부여되어야 할 것이다.....
그리고 이것은 결단이 아닌 소여에 따른다..

 

개인적으로 제4부 연장의 이론을 통해
전체를 보면 맥락이 더욱 확연히 잡힌다고 봐진다..
실로 PR의 마지막 키워드가 아닐 수 없다.......
주석작업을 하면서 화이트헤드가 남겨놓은
수학적 수수께끼가 풀릴날만을 고대하고 있을 뿐이다.......
